Parking at or near YVR?
Did a search but only found very old results.
My wife and a couple of friends are going on a LA to Vancouver cruise in April. I am going to drive up to YVR and meet them at LAX (they will fly from SEA). What is the best parking strategy? We won't have a return flight so I don't really even need to park at the airport (although I have to get there somehow for my initial flight). |
Airport long-term parking is $153/week
or you could book with a nearby hotel (with an airport shuttle) and do their park and fly rates. I'm seeing the Richmond Marriott for $314 tonight with 21 days of parking Doing a one-way rental might save a bit of money |
If you're going to drive up from the SEA area to park at YVR, fly from YVR to LAX, so you can drive home to the SEA area on arrival by ship, I'd try doing the O/W car rental per above. In the distant past I've been able to rent from D/T Vancouver locations (Hertz, maybe Avis) for return at SEA which will save you the YVR airport rental surtax.

Another option could be to use the long-term parking at Bellingham Airport and then get picked up by Quick Shuttle and taken to YVR ($32 for the shuttle) https://quickcoach.com/schedule/. Hopefully this is helpful as another option.

You could try this place: Airport Parking | Pinnacle Parking 13$ per day, or 91$ for a week. Not a bad deal
