6 hour layover in YUL?

I've got a 6 hour layover from 7 am to 1 pm on June 24th. Any thoughts on best use of this time? Thanks.

24 June is a Provincial Holiday, so I am not sure how much you can do...

Traffic will be light. Should be possible to taxi back and forth to Old Montreal for 2-3 hours.

If it's a holiday does that mean many stores will be closed?

Pick up a $10 one-day transit card and take the 747 for downtown, Old Port, or Chinatown. You can get downtown in as little as 40 minutes if you transfer to the subway at Lionel Groulx. Or you can take a taxi for $70 roundtrip and it should take under 30 minutes each way. You can also visit the casino although it might be too far unless you take a taxi.
