I am looking at award travel from BOS to YUL to YEG. I have one hour and six minutes at YUL. Will this be enough to clear customs in YUL.
Also curious, what is minimum time at YYZ between US to Canada connections if that option appears in future.
Thanks,

Separate customs line and not having to redo security. Its quite fast.
Generally: If they sold it to you, its OK. If its not OK, its on them. Either way, things can always be late. Do not schedule your own wedding, a 3some, or a million dollar sales meeting 60 after a scheduled arrival time.

My last few trips through customs at YUL coming back to Canada have been about 10 minutes from stepping off the plane to arriving at new gate. Though I have Nexus, non-nexus doesn't look THAT much worse. YYZ for me is usually longer, though that depends largely on which gate I land at. Since I'm usually at the F gates that are practically downtown, it's a long walk.

As this is a Canada Customs query rather than an Air Canada specific questions it's been relocated to the FT Canada destination forum for further discussion but it seems like OP's has been fully answered.

Not necessarily. The drill is different if it's an AC-->AC connection.

It goes without saying that if you are on one ticket you are both above MCT and protected from a misconnect. But, there are only two nonstops YUL-YEG. Thus, if you misconnect, you likely face an overnight or a lousy routing.
The problem here is not whether you can make it in 1:06, but the consequences of a delay and what that does to your trip. It won't take much of a delay to cause a misconnect here.
So, all depends on why you are headed to YEG and how tight your schedule is.
