Whitehorse car rental tricks?

What are the best tricks for cheap car rental in Whitehorse? They are all quite expensive and come with low milage limits.

Wrent a Wreck seems to have been bought out. I just want something to get around town for a few days, maybe a couple day trips in the area.

Maybe you know a discount code for the local car dealer who rents out cars?

Or is there someone renting out motorollers?

Don't have great advice to offer, but see you didn't get any responses. I recall seeing on AirBnB in the past some Whitehorse properties where vehicle use is included. Maybe look some of those up and see if they're interested in a vehicle rental.

Car rentals outside major centers in Canada are very pricey.

Thank you for the Airbnb Idea. Do you know how that works in case something happens? What about insurance?

I have no idea. I assume it's your duty to ensure they have the appropriate insurance in order to allow you to drive. Any apportionment of deductible between you and them should be spelled out, otherwise I'm guessing you wouldn't even be responsible for that. All told, it's a hard place to rent. I usually try to borrow from our local office there if I need a truck.

At the Driving Force office on Range Rd, I have noticed a sign offering an upgrade package for unlimited mileage. I think it was $15/day, but I'm not sure.
