Can/will Uber take us from Buffalo to crossborder Niagara (Canada side)?

Hi all --
I'm planning a Niagara Falls + Toronto trip with family, and our first plan is to fly from NYC to BUF due to convenience of schedule and price. Staying in Niagara that night.

I'm wondering if Uber or taxi / whatever service will take us across the border at Niagara Falls, or do they drop you on the US side for an inconvenient walk across? (Of course, I'm looking not to spend hundreds of $ for this convenience, as I know there are limousine services, etc that will).

Or would you have any suggestions for how to accomplish this without renting a car (I have looked, and it's >$175 minimum).

Thanks!

It is possible. Although, keep in mind that you need a passport/NEXUS or an enhanced driver's license to cross the border, which your Uber driver may not have readily available. I know there are taxis willing to take you across, but I expect it to be just as expensive as Uber (or even more). Why not try one of the private bus services?
