Meeting Someone at YUL
 

Next weekend I'm going to be meeting my girlfriend in YUL. She's flying in from YYZ and I'm flying in from ORD. Does anyone with experience in YUL know how easy it will be for her to get over to the trains border arrivals so we can meet as I exit Canadian customs? Just trying to get an idea of how easy it is to get from the domestic arrivals to the transborder arrivals.

Tell her to turn right out of domestic arrivals and walk 300 feet to wait for you.

There are a couple of fast food rests as she turns right, before reaching the trans border arrivals area. I have done this walk many times and, as suggested, its real easy.

IME, the reverse is more complex. Once you cleat US Pre at YUL, you walk through a labyrinth of hallways before reaching your gate. (Whomever designed it was on something). One time, I discovered chairs stored in one of these long paths.

The hallway you mention isn't post CBP but is actually the hallway for pax connecting domestic to transborder and is before USCBP. OP won't be anywhere near this area.
