Anywhere to buy a Mac at YVR
Hi,
I need to buy a new Macbook. Is there anywhere at YVR to buy one and will it be tax-free if I'm flying internationally? Thanks |
Nothing physically in YVR. If you have a long enough layover and can clear immigration, you can take a cab to a mac reseller that's on the same street as the airport.

There is an Apple Store at Oakridge Centre Mall, which is on the Canada Line Subway out from YVR. It's a 15-minute journey on the train.

Since the two options are in Richmond, there is no need to buy a 2 zone fare to go into Vancouver. |

There is an Apple store at Richmond Centre as well, also on the Canada Line.

Since the two options are in Richmond, there is no need to buy a 2 zone fare to go into Vancouver. 1) You have to change trains. Not hard at all, but a bit of a fiddle. 2) You have quite a bit more outdoors walking with these options than you do with the Oakridge option. |
