Travel Guide App or Pay For Data?

Going to Montreal tomorrow and am wondering if I should just add a temporary international data package or is there a good, offline guide app? I've been looking but everything I found have zero reviews. Thanks for the suggestions.

If you're a Verizon customer, you can add a Canada and Mexico plan, set it to begin tomorrow, and remove it the day you return. They will prorate the cost, which can make this very inexpensive.

The Mexico & Canada Talk, Text & Data package is on promotion for just $5/month. It provides 100 minutes, 100 sent texts, and 100 MB of data. I got that plan for my wife's phone and the $25/month 500/500/1GB plan for my phone. Over two weeks, my wife used more than the 100 MB limit, which added another $10 to the bill.

In the end, my two weeks in Canada added $12.10 to our bill for my phone and $12.42 for hers, so I'd recommend getting the 500/500/1GB plan. Just be sure to remove it as soon as you re-enter the US.

I'm with AT&T. Their only real option is $30 for 125 MB of data and unlimited messaging. Seems pretty steep.

Does anyone have any suggested apps?
