First Air adds three new flights Edmonton - Yellowknife

Ottawa-based First Air will add three weekly flights between Edmonton and Yellowknife, starting June 1.

The new flights — Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday — mean First Air will fly between the two cities nine times each week.

Summit Air?

On First Air's WEB site, it states the flights are operated by "Summit Air" which appears to be a contractor for the oil & gas industry.

One thing for sure, Summit Air does not operate B737's (as the Edmonton Journal suggests).

Does the daily paper do any fact checking before running a company's press release?
