I suppose it will be implemented by CATSA.

I look forward to much merriment!

Merriment indeed. Not.

And some of us remembers flying while SARS.

Everyone everywhere is afraid of what they don't know and no one knows what to do. Taking people's temperatures will solve nothing.

And when was the last time anyone told officials they plan to fly while sick.
Half the cabin coming back from SRQ in Dec was coughing, sneezing or worse.

CATSA, yes, the same people who brought you blank stares because they know as much or as little as TSA screeners, and wear less bright colors. Neither group knows what to look for in security, now they've been promoted to health officer.

This is going to make the baggage dragons look easy

You suppose incorrectly. The CBSA has the intial screening tasking for the Public Health Agency of Canada.

Lightbulb Full body scanner with Temp readout...

If they could just combine the full body scans with an infrared temperature read-out, we could expedite screenings even faster. Heck, for the good of society, add a foot fungus detector seeing as our shoes are already off anyway... I'm waiting for the day when you have to show up with a stool sample just to board.
