<55 Minutes from pre-security to gate?
 

Hi all,

So I'm in a bit of a situation. I'm picking up my new passport tomorrow which I'll have to pop in to the NEXUS office before I fly, but the problem is their office doesn't open until 8am and my flight is at 8:55am.

If I'm checked in and have my luggage tagged and get in and out of the NEXUS office at 8, is it possible to make it to the gate in time? This is at YYZ with a trip to the US.

Possible but not something I'd recommend attempting. IIRC picking up my Nexus card was a fairly short process but still took roughly 15 minutes and there's no guarantee you'd be first in line. Add that to the security circus and while possible I would think it unlikely it would work. Just MHO.

The more I thought about it, the more I think you're right. Hearing it from a seasoned FT member was the final nail.

Not advisable due to the morning US bound "rush hour".
