Two of the finest German/Austrian/Czech restaurants are Continental Treat Fine Bistro in Old Strathcona www.m.mainstreethub.com/ctfinebistro and for the best schnitzel in Edmonton, Bistro Praha downtown that is open very late for dinner www.bistropraha.com

Both are casual. Try the dill pickle soup at Continental Treat and if you like beef tartare it can't be beat at Bistro Praha.
