A Canadian couple are among 300 would-be travellers outraged after their winter vacations were cancelled because Korean Air tickets they bought online were not supposed to be sold to consumers.

While I would tend to agree if the 'victims' had booked through www.SuperDeluxeTravelDeals.ru, these trips were booked through Expedia. I think there is an assumption that some online vendors - Such as Amazon - Are 'trustworthy.' Expedia would be in that category, in my mind.

I remembered this thread. Our unlucky travellers may have known exactly what they were doing when they booked. Still no excuse for Expedia leaving them hanging.
