NEXUS application wait times
 

Does anybody have recent experience with applying for the NEXUS program from the US side? I finally decided to bite the bullet after waiting in the immigration line at YYZ a few too many times, paid my $50 US, and am now waiting. Plus, where will my interview be? I don't live anywhere near the border (in Nevada)

Your choice but it will have to be at a Canadian enrollment centre first and then a U.S. one, and you need an airport location for the iris scan to make it useful for air travel.

Keep an eye on your GOES/GEOS account for conditional approval and then schedule an appointment.

For anybody else who comes across this thread, it was about 9 days between when I submitted my application (and my $50) and when I got the conditional approval to schedule my interview. YVR had openings at the end of December, but YYZ didn't have anything until February.
