Long Beach to La Jolla
Hi, guys,
I completely don't know the region. Sorry for a dummy question.
1) Could you please help me to find out the way from Long Beach (CA) to La Jolla (CA). The easiest and quickest way is preferred. I was thinking of something up to 100 USD.
2) Could you please suggest a cheap lodging in these two cities?
Thank you!

Where in Long Beach? (Airport, Cruise Terminal, University, etc.)
Where in La Jolla? (University [UCSD], Town/Hotels, private residence, etc.)
Will you be traveling with much luggage?
Are you able to drive a automobile?
Comfortable with traffic and crowded freeways?
Are you over 25 years old?
The quick & easy answer is to rent a car and drive down...
But if you can't answer yes to the last three questions, that might be a bit of a problem....or flat out impossible.
There are a variety of inexpensive hotels and motels in Long Beach... Check the usual on-line booking sources. La Jolla is going to be pricey if you expect to stay in town, think Beverly Hills by the Beach... You'll do a lot better in other parts of San Diego.

I'm assuming you're driving and if so, there are a number of hotels in each city (Downtown long beach is your best bet there and there are cheap, safe motels/hotels a plenty). In La Jolla, you'll have options galore, if not a bit pricier.
