Expresso Parking rate increases 11/15/03
 

New rates are:

Outdoor Self Park $ 6.95/day

Self Park Indoor $ 9.95/day

Indoor Valet $ 10.95/day

You still get 15% off with a AAA card.

These rates are less competitive than before. PCA offers an $8.50 coupon on its web site, and you get 10 free days at SFO (worth about $80) after you pay for 31 days at OAK. But PCA charges tax and Expresso doesn't.

I figure the effective total rate is $6.50 at PCA and $6 at Expresso. This is close enough that I plan to switch back to PCA November 15, at least until I fill my punch card. PCA's pickup at the car is also much better during rainy season.

Well that's still a relative bargain - I pay a good chunk more at Park-n-fly, and the "economy" lot moved far away and is now $17, and the old economy lot is now $20. On the other hand, I rarely use that horrible airport anymore.

With the refugee-style busing from the terminal that Expresso utilized last time, I'd go for PCA...
