UA Intl Non-Stop Checkin
 

We are UAL MileagePlus with LAX as a home airport. Generally flights are from Terminal 7. We are on UA934 in a few weeks, LAX-LHR. The itinerary shows departure from Gate 74, Terminal 7. However, check-in is at Terminal 6 for International Non-stops, according to Reservations. We check in at Terminal 6 and depart from Terminal 7? Does anyone have experience with this? Is it less inconvenient than it sounds?

Actually it is very convenient. After checkin head east toward Terminal Seven (don't exit the building, just go down the hallway). Someone will stop you for a boarding pass check and you will momentarily be at the security screening area on the west side of Terminal Seven. Overall its probably a cleaner entry way into security, with less obstacles and bodies to dodge.
