LAX HOTEL/RESTAURANT

6 of us will be @ LAX arriving @ different times. We'd like to meet & eat (or drink) is there a hotel on site (such as O'Hare & Hilton, or, is there a hotel which will provide the free shuttle for eating, but not lodging, purposes?

There is no hotel within LAX; all are off-site. There is, however a restaurant within the inner "horseshoe" of the terminals.

As for using hotel shuttles, I don't see why a property would object to picking up guests if they were only going to eat at their property - I mean, they are going to make money on your food bill...

suzieq, I agree with FlyinHawaiian.

I've always enjoyed Encounter Restaurant at LAX. It is a unique looking stand-alone restaurant, outside security and is a short (1-5 minute) walk from any of the terminals. It may be more convenient than one of the nearby hotel restaurants.

Encounter looks fun and manageable from the web information. Thanks! Will see what transpires.
