WAS to SNA

In the next year, I'm going to be making a lot of business trips from the Washington area (Alexandria) to the Anaheim Convention Center. I'm trying to find some nonstops to SNA from WAS.

Do they exist? What is the best way to proceed?

If you want IAD, your best bet may be jetblue from LGB. But you could also get a UA nonstop (I think its operating). To DCA you will have to change planes.

The DCA-SNA service is connecting...

You can do the following connections from DCA or IAD to get to SNA:

Via Atlanta: Delta
Via Chicago: American or United
Via Denver: UA
Via DFW: American or Delta
Via Newark: Continental
Via Houston: Continental
Via MSP: Northwest
Via Detroit: Northwest
Via Pittsburgh: US Airways

UA WAS to have a IAD-SNA non stop prior to 9/11 - this was dropped. The only reason they planned this flight pre 9/11 was to compete with Jet Blue from Long Beach to IAD (JBLU planned this pre 9/11). Jet Blue started service this week - UA has added flights from OAK to IAD to compete with JBLU, but nothing yet from SNA (which is closest to LGB)

JetBlue from Long Beach may be a good choice...

FYI - AA has a super fare from DCA - SNA. I believe it is $158.00r/t. This is connecting service.
