Best Value Hotels in Monterey, CA

Try to get 1 night reservation for hotels in Monterey area...it is outrageous - $245 per night at Hilton Monterey! I don't think this is not even a 4 star hotel! Any suggestion will help... thanks.

When are you going? If it's a weekend in the summer, it's tough to get good rates. The Marriott and the Hyatt occasionally run specials. A couple of small but decent places along Cannery Row that often are available at lower rates are the Spindrift Inn and the Monterey Bay Inn and a block away from Cannery Row is the Victorian Inn. They are all part of a consortium called the Inns of Monterey. The Hotel Pacific is the 4th member of this group and is probably the nicest but also the most expensive.
