Yosemite: 4-day trip questions [early March 2017]

I was in Yosemite last week. Stayed in the cute little town of Mariposa at the old-school motel Mariposa Lodge. Reasonable room; reasonable price. This year, the Yosemite waterfalls are the best I've ever seen. A bit of snow still on the ground here and there. No T-Mobile coverage. We brought our own food for the most part.

I'm using a photo resizing app for the first time, so I'm experimenting with my Yosemite pics here. Let's see how this works.

My original reservation was for Stoneman's Cottage, but was upgraded at check-in to a (duplex) cabin. The Cottage, conveniently directly next to the shuttle bus stop, was a one-level building with maybe ~30 hotel type rooms. And looked charming.
Stoneman's Cottage at Half Dome Village over three days: Friday March 3, Saturday March 4, and Sunday March 5.

Thanks for this recommendation. Inspired by this and by intense envy prompted by Boxo's photos, I just booked a quick stay there for my birthday in early May. Can't take much time off, but I really, really want to see the falls this season!
