I like The Fish Market in Del Mar, by the racetrack, or Iris, which is slightly more south.

Well Sushi is seafood, so that means Sushi Ota

I second Sushi Ota, some of the best sushi in town, let alone the state. (even within the US?? getting carried away)

But if you are looking for more "american" type seafood, I'd go with the above posters with blue water seafood and also the fish market. There is also a fish market next to the USS Midway, downtown.

The Pacifica Del Mar is really nice too!

I agree with Sushi Ota ^- shouldn't be missed! Oscar's worth checking out too, if you also love Mexican dishes, alongside seafood treats.

Bay Park Sea Food! It's a great local spot. ^^
