Fairly light. Unless it isn't of course.

Fair, with a 40% chance of heavy.

If you're driving, I'd be in a car no later than 12 Noon. This is Friday in the summertime.

I once drove from downtown LA to ONT (Ontario airport). That trip took 2.5 hours, and I left at 2:00.

Welcome to Flyertalk Marc Quinones. FYI, if you look at the Destination forum, you'll see one for California, and a sub-forum for L.A.

Friday evening traffic is usually heavy. Make sure you check traffic on Google map before you head out. Right now there seems be to a bottle neck just north of 210 on the 15. Sometime it is faster to head to the 215 and go north from there and merge in to the 15.

Agreed on this. The other trick I use is to take the 210 and exit at Sierra. Go North on Sierra where you then go under the 15 and take a right at Glen Helen Parkway. You essentially parallel the 15 and then the 215 and get back on the freeway right after the 15/215 merge.

Most of the traffic is approaching that terrible junction.
