Shuttle from Amtrak station to SAN

I am taking the Amtrak to the Santa Fe depot Amtrak station for a flight out of SAN at 7.30 PM on Tue. I believe there is a shuttle, but I can't find any info on it. Where do I ketch it and how often does it run? Any info will be helpfull, including alternative methods to get to the airport. Thanks

Half a block from the Santa Fe depot, San Diego's MTS 992 runs frequently to San Diego airport for $2.25 or it is a $10 cab ride.

Thanks, looks like I can catch it at Broadway and Kettner. There is a lot of construction going on by the waterfront, will that affect the bus route?

Perhaps by North American standards, but every 30 minutes or so isn't all that frequent :(

Not sure about now, but when I was there last the route was altered slightly, but endpoint was same.

I took the 992 and it worked great. Trip is about 10 min to the far side of Terminal 2, last stop. Return was just as good. When I fly from SAN again this will be my preferred option. Just a not on SAN, first time there, I was very impressed with Terminal 2. Great looking buildin that looks very new, open, lots of glass, good food court and a non-existant TSA line. Compared to LAX, this was a pleasure.

The 992 is a very reliable option. Many airport employees use it daily.
