Ok, this is the flight schedule.

Q1) it says the flight is KLM. but the flight operated by air france. does that mean the air plane i fly with is actully air france or KLM?

Q2) i have to transfer air pllane at AMS. but the transit time is only 1hr 20min. is that enough time to transfer ? what if i miss the air plane, can i get the next plane without any cost?

Q3) i think i have to be at CDG airport by 6:00 am since the det. time is 8:00am. what time does public transportation start to operate in Paris? and i really want to avoid to spend money to catch a taxi to get the airport since i have a low budget. does anyone know what alternative do i have to be at the airport by 6:00am? ( i still don;t know where i'm going to stay in paris, but it would be someone else's house i know or the cheapest place i guess)

Thanks for helping me out with this in advance!!!

You will fly on Air France. It's something called a codeshare. A flight will have a KLM flight number but it is actually a Air France flight. The two airline will share the money made from each flight..too complicated to explain.

You should have enough time. If you miss the plane because AMS-CDG is late then yes they would put you on the next flight for no cost. That would be very inconvenient. If you miss it because you're late getting to the gate then you would probably have to pay.

If your flight from Tacoma is late leaving and looks to be arriving at AMS late, please tell the purser about the problem of your connecting interval to your flight from AMS to CDG.

(Preferably show the purser your ticket)

Ask him/her to notify the AF/KL office at AMS so that they can either ........ manage a speedy transfer (eg transport from the Tacoma flight to the Paris-bound aircraft) or make arrangements for you to catch the next flight - and reroute your baggage as well! That way you know that the AMS staff have been forewarned of your connecting requirements and hopefully can prepare a safety net for you if the incoming aircraft doesn't make up the time enroute.
