if u do internet tickets remember to print out boarding pass, which can be a pain or get the boarding pass number on the second page not just the ticket order number on the first page after the transaction.

learned my lesson, they claim that they cannot find will call without actual boarding pass and may force u to buy another ticket

last i checked greyhound offers 10% off your first bus ride when you signup for their road rewards program. If you have a student advnatage card you can get 20% off walk up tickets. Check their efares on their site.

Where do you want to travel? You may be better off with Megabus. Based on your profile information I am guessing you'll be traveling from Lansing, MI. You can take greyhond to Ann Arbor and then megabus.

Greyhound dropped all discounts and coupons and doubled their prices They indicated, they would reinstate them in the fall, but did not. I recommend checking out Craigslist and look under Rideshare...

Not true: they restructured the website to only show discounted fares if you click Deals and Discounts, choose Online Discounts, then pick your departure city from a drop down menu. Or, enter your city pair then enter the coupon codes found in the first post: route-specific codes I've spot-checked are still valid.

This is an old thread... so I wanted to bump it up for a 2013 update.


Does anybody know of any discount codes that actually work these days? I seem to find lots of them listed on the internet, but not one of them will discount my ride at all.

haha, I doubt it. I'm sure thats only in the hotel and airline-world.
