This is the same VolareWeb. I remember getting an email from them a few month ago (I took a few flights on the original VolareWeb) that they were restarting the airlines, but with a much more limited route network.

However, much of the time Virgin Blue is within a few $$ of Jetstar and Qantas - so a tip is to check all 3 airlines rather than assuming Virgin Blue will be cheapest.

For NZ, try Origin Pacific - particularly the repositioning flights.
For trans-tasman and selected south pacific routes, try Freedom Air. For trans-tasman only also check out Qantas, NZ and Emirates, LAN, Aerolineas Argentinas, Royal Brunei & Thai for low sale fares.

. Info in Swedish here. I'm not sure inter-continental budget airlines is such a great idea...

Another one from Canada.........
SkyService (booked through Sunquest Vacations via a TA) flies from Canada to the U.S., European, and Caribbean destinations. Savings over the majors for the same days of travel (not daily flights, but schedules for the vacation markets) are often considerable. Also very tight pitch and no FF miles, unless you book with a miles giving CC.

SL,
Okay, no problem with your not adding SkyService to the list. True, they can't be booked on the web (they have a website, just can't book through it), but I'd consider them a LCC nonetheless as their fares are usually much lower then the majors. Example: a friend of mine just returned from a two week trip to LON, booked on relatively short notice. Fare difference from YYZ to LGW saved over $300 CAD versus AC into LHR. Last year, on a family emergency for us from YYZ to FLL, we saved lots versus AC for last minute travel. And so far, no BOB food for even 3 hour flights.
I'd rate them similar to Transat (albeit without the online booking availability).

Nice List on Wikipedia
Can be found here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_low-cost_airlines
Not all airlines have articles but at least they seem to cover a good amount... lots already mentioned on this thread though.

I use these sites when looking for low-cost fares to Europe (from Vancouver for the most part and usually to London):
http://www.exit.ca
http://www.selloffairfares.com
http://www.itraveleurope.ca
http://www.travelcuts.ca
http://www.canadianaffair.com
Of course "regular" booking sites can have the cheapest fares too, particularly if there is a fare mistake.
For travel in Europe, I use this site (which has likely been mentioned):
http://www.whichbudget.com
