At first, I thought this was a strange question but it kind of make sense if the op travels to certain international countries more than others. Travels to european countries, any busy airport on the east coast would qualify. Large airports on the west coast for travelers to Asia.

HNL is one of the worst airports for competitive, inexpensive international (and domestic) travel. Almost always flights to Asia are cheaper from all west coast hub cities even though Hawaii is almost halfway to Asia already.

SIN or KUL. Lots of competition and flights to just about anywhere.
DXB/AUH have not as much competition but worldwide coverage is exceptional.
EDIT: Sorry missed that you were focused on US cities.

Alexandria Bay, NY (as close to the I-81 as possible), almost equidistant to Toronto and Montreal with all the Icelandic airlines competing, I doubt it could be beaten to Europe price-wise. And there's WestJet and Air Transat too. It's another question whether driving 2.5-3 hours to the airport is acceptable.
