Anyone Get Double Points Yet??
 

I have been booking online forever and now the double points promo is nice....

However...still have yet to see them hit my account!!!!

Anyone get them yet??

No, actually I have been trying to get them to change my FF# out of my profile so I can get Budget points. It looks like when I use my FF# on a really small rental (where 30 points < 1/2 Southwest credit) they permanently put it back in the profile instead of points. Oh well.

A couple of questions that I haven't seen answered on the board yet:

I rent often, and I'm looking at the award chart. Is this math correct? I give Budget about $250 a week. At double points online, that's 500 a week, or 11 weeks to get a 3 night Gold level vacation at a really nice property (value about $500).

Has anyone on this board scored a resort vacation award? I saw in the award catalog to look for additional terms and conditions online, but didn't find any. This really looks like a good deal for frequent weekly renters.

Do they have capacity control restrictions on rental car certificates? They way I see it, since I rent every week (500 points), I could also redeem 600 for a 2 day off-airport rental. Therefore I could possibly get a free car almost every weekend, since I live very near an off-airport location. This almost looks too good to be true.

I have been getting the double points ever since the program was initiated. They post to your account as adjustments.

Well, just as I had expected.

I saved up a bunch of points, went to get the award, and noticed that it is now GONE. It looks like the off-airport awards for 50% of the amount of the airport awards have been taken out of the catalog.

If it looks to good to be true...
