Letter from Damage Control Dept
Hi,
I hired a car from Budget late last year, have been away and just picked up a letter from the Budget Vehicle Damage Control Dept. The car was returned without a scratch and I know I haven't damaged it.
There are basically no details included except various vehicle ID no's and a request to complete a form about the damages (shown as RFD NULL).
Is this some kind of a fishing expedition? Right now I have no intention of responding, but do I then open myself up to being billed or pursued?
If anyone has any experience of being in the same boat, can they shed some light on this for me please?
TIA
