What cars are in the Premium fleet?

Just like Jerseyguy (asking for current full size vehicle range), I'm looking for the current vehicle models in Budget's Premium list - renting from DFW in the summer, will probably be doing 2000 miles over 9 days, so looking for something nice (4 adults + luggage)

At TPA, they were clearly low on Premiums (They had premium rates below economy rates when we booked!) When we got to the airport, they offered us a Volvo S60 I believe (something with a "60" at least) when we asked for anything else, they assigned us a 2014 Chrysler 300 with 300-ish miles on it w/ a November 2013 build date (rented in Dec. 2013)... I generally rent Hertz, but what the concenus was that Budget and Avis's fleet are pretty much the same as they are sister companies so you can check here (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/avis-...ars-class.html) for their fleet list to get an idea of what you might get

They also had an abundant of BMWs on the lot - About 2 full rows full of them from 3 series, 5 series, a 7 series, X3's, etc and they offered us a 5 series for ~$30day I believe from a premium, but from what I've heard the BMWs are pretty much stock

Chrysler 300 would be the nicest vehicle for your party in the premium. I would also suggest getting something like SRX or X3/5 since you are going to be doing a lot of driving.

Thanks, SZ

A Chrysler 300 would be fine, and others have suggested a 2014 Impala (provided, of course, that it is the NEW Impala, and not the 2014 OLD Impala rental special.....)

I'm swithering between various suppliers - Generally, if we make our reservation here in the UK, it works out significantly cheaper than trying to sort it in the US. UK credit cards do not give vehicle insurance cover, so it always makes sense to take a rental package that is 'all inclusive'.

Budget, National and Alamo all seem to get reasonably good user satisfaction ratings, so hard to know how to choose.

I booked a premium through budget at las and got a Hyundai genesis.

I recently rented a Premium from Budget at PHX and was assigned a fully loaded Taurus, but with no sun roof. Since I hate sun roof (takes up valuable headroom), I didn't look to see what else was available.
