Budget weekend rate: bait-and-switch
 

Reserved a car for 1 day for a base rate of $16.99, picked up but did not look closely at the contract. Wrong! When I dropped the car off the charged rate was $23.99 and the total came out $10 more than from the original estimated charge. Not enough to make a big deal of and since I signed for the higher rate I don't have a leg to stand on, but still, I had not expected this from a reputable company. Will check better next time.
