Some time between 1 and 3 days after the next BA sale finishes.

BA rarely do much Sale activity during the school holidays so I expect the next sale will be the annual September Sale (which actually usually starts at the end of August.

Except Christmas, Easter, the usual July sale and August Bank Holidays

I definately need a sale for 2 F's to Sydney in January, so guys please keep your ears open for any little snippets that may come your way. What would be nice if for a sale end of September, so can save money, and still get my almost 10K spent in one booking.

It will be before end of August, no way they have >4 weeks without any sale. Or at least there should be some promotion codes starting to be published.

I hope they try and do some less usual things this year to create some more revenue!

Oh how nice. I assume this sale will be in honor of LBJ's birthday. After all it is an official holiday in Texas. I do need to buy two tickets about then.

Got half price CE seats for this weekend, two week ago on Expedia. Full fare on ba.com but classed as "Expedia Special Fare".

Wonder if BA are passing out discounts via other discreet means.

Was in New York at the end of May. Entered a new flagship designer store on Fifth Avenue where everything was full price. We did look like serious shoppers. Sale assistant come up to us and said that there was a "private sale with 40% off" - it worked on us. We bought since prices were then reduced to a more reasonable level (reasonable being relative of course).

Sale - just hurry up and announce it, please

Please hurry up an announce a new sale. I know you're going to have another sale. So does everyone else. No leisure travellers are going to book advance tickets several months out on BA at the moment because we're all waiting for the next sale. You've created that problem and there's no going back on it.

I need 245 more tier points for shiny gold card and I am seriously (and, the more I think about it, rather foolishly) considering curtailing my long weekend in New York to fit in an 11 hours stop in Las Vegas courtesy of an AA KUP.

If you'd just get on and announce the sale that we all know is inevitable, I'd buy some CW tickets to Las Vegas with you instead (OK, I'd go to LAX and get a cheap AA flight for the extra 5 TPs). If you keep holding off, I will eventually give in the the devil on my shoulder and give my cash to AA!

Sorry, I meant summer Holidays. The majority of schools only broke up after the July Sale ended and there isn't usually any more sale activity until just before the schools go back at the beginning of September.
