Watching and waiting!
We missed it once, being submerged in Christmas stuff, and in Feb had to pay for CW in a Sale.
We were double stupid, as it was in our very early days of BAEC. We could possibly have UuAd to First. And got that out of our system!

Hooray! The sale is now on from AMS. And very reasonably priced it is as well. Happy days!

There are sale fares in N, V and T classes valid for outbound travel up to and including 6 December, and from 24 December to 30 December inclusive.
Oddly, for the latter period the N fare with a 7 day AP is more expensive than the V fare with no AP. Looks like another filing glitch to me.

Thanks PS love your signature btw

AP = advance purchase.
When you see individual flights displayed, the flight number should be a link. Click on that, and there will usually be a pop-up. If you're at a stage in the booking process where a specific booking class is being used to give you the price you're seeing, that pop-up will say so. On some of the newer-style pages where the fare for several cabins is shown simultaneously, the pop-up will show you the booking class being used for each cabin.
However, seeing the filing glitches requires diving into the fare rules, which is easier with a service like Expert Flyer (or similar).
At the moment, I can't readily think of any real adverse effects either for the general run of customers or for BA for this particular filing error. The other one I saw before (re travel dates for JNB) was more significant.

J-cabin fares to the US west coast are up 10.1% from the same end-of-"ferie" summer sale last year!
However, departure is allowed up to 15APR vs 31MAR last year (different time for Easter? Probably). AP is now 7 days vs. 0 last year.

The I7SALE fares out of WAW via LHR seem particularly good value. Business Class Return fares to LAX available for £1900, ORD for £1252, JFK for £1217 and MEX for £1826 to name but a few [comparison with ex-London BA CW fares for these four destinations: £2092, £2057, £2505 and £2045 respectively]. Bookable until 3rd October for travel commencing before 31/3/14.
Bagged a nice deal on an open jaw ORD/JFK for the Christmas/NewYear period to give us a few weeks in the US with GUF2 making this a very good trip indeed. Wide open award availability in First even around the holiday period for JFK, but very much more patchy availability of awards in First for the other destinations I was interested in.

Is the babybus permitted on that fare basis?
