For almost all USA destinations the sale seems to be extended another week - fare rules now state purchase by Feb 9th.

In summary

WT - very cheap in Feb, March, slightly lower than normal for rest of year
WT+ - very cheap Feb, March, then ~£100 more through September (except July/early Aug)
Club - limited destinations - cheap through June

I didn't receive an email, but BA.com homepage is advertising CE/CW and F fares on sale until 13th March.

Usual £1.5k to NYC, some excellent shorthaul CE+hotel breaks, and impressively SYD for £2.5k in April and May.......

Details very limited at the moment, but it looks as though World Traveller & World Traveller Plus will go into sale on Thursday (15th).

Various travel dates up to 31 January 2013, and 90 destinations worldwide.

Also expect Lufthansa to release some sale Y fares to India/Asia on 14th.

Funny, earlier this morning I was looking at the ba.com low price finder thing and saw some destinations at Sale prices. Orlando in particular, but Sydney in May was also there at just over £800 in Y.

Good news and I can swear I can hear the clicking of hundreds of keyboards checking for CW availability

I hear them too! I think the SYD fares visible today are more to do with the current QF Red e-Sale, and thanks to the Joint Services Agreement between Qantas and BA, it drags the BA fares down too. There may yet be some more changes from Thursday then - though perhaps for later in the year in Sydney's case.

I suspect the reason the Bangkok fare has fallen so much is that BA9/10 no longer goes to/from Sydney.

There's been no equipment change so there should be more seats for BKK.

Although theoretically you could then fly on the QANTAS codeshare to SYD the connection times are so poor you'd be crazy to do so.

(unless you have an unhealthy interest in Suvarnabhumi airport...)

CE too, right?

So if I don't book my CE fare now, it will be more expensive tonight?

The posted AUG/SEP fares to the far east look good in WT+. Hoping I can bag a MFU CW fare to Tokyo in OCT/NOV.
