BA 747 in FCO and Antigua diverted to SNN - why?

There is a BA 747 on the ground in Rome airport (FCO). Anyone know what it's doing there?

Also apparently the inbound Antigua flight today to LGW was diverted to SNN, delaying the TPA outbound. Anyone know why?

Ta.

Also an Aer Lingus A330 at LHR... Never seen that before either... Wonder why that was there too?

Just a busy flight by the looks of things... Scheduled EI158 and EI159 (yes, unusually large plane).

Ta.
I spoke to this one earlier. It was BA54 from JNB. It had made 2 unscheduled stops: the first at Lusaka at 0144 and 2nd at Rome at 1049 (according to ba.com). Pilot said it was because of "sickness". It arrived at LHR this evening as BA054X approx 2130.

It's happened a few times - either busy period (sporting events) or consolidation of flights when something goes tech.

It's the lead up to Cheltenham race festival so possibly that might explain them running the A330's on the route to move more people.
