Seat map request: LHR-MIA BA0209 on 4.8.09

Sorry for a cheeky request, but thinking of booking First for summer holiday for my partner and I, and want to know whether I'd be able to snap up 4EF on this flight. (I assume 4EF would be immediately reserve-able as a non-status pax in F).

Is there any easy way to see a seat-map before booking?

Thanks,

j.

Yes, you can allocate yourselves any available seats apart from 1A/1K (until T-24 if still there). At present, there is not a single seat taken on BA209 on 4th August.

BTW, being silver, when could I get 1A/K (if still available) for an upcoming flight? T-72 or T-24?

If you go to expedia.com.au you can do a dummy booking for your flight choosing BA as your preferred carrier. It will list your choice of flights you can then click on the "preview seat availability".

Another option, although I do not think that it works for all flights or airlines is http://www.greenbee.com/travel

It has a Preview Seat Availability option.

Do bear in mind that August is a long way off (take it that 4.8.09 is 4th August and not 8th April?) and the seat availability is bound to change between now and then, particularly as the school holidays will be on during the first week of August (and 8th April if it was then).

I think it has been a long day for you sunrisegirl.

jmd4211 is travelling in Y on 16 January to MIA whilst jimcbob is flying in F (4EF) to MIA on 4 August.

Time for a relaxing drink and the "feet up".
