OT: AA MILES - Purchase up to 60,000
I have just received an e-mail from American Airlines and it appears that you can now purchase up to 60,000 Miles. Ok, with the collapse in the value of sterling this may not be the bargain that it was, but with the lower (than BA) redemption rates to some destinations (i.e 80,00 miles in FIRST to DXB return) and lower surcharge costs it might be useful to some. I believe the offer is only open for a short period...

Jimmy the jock-- thank-you, yes the offer may have been around for a while, just doesn't seem to have been posted on the BAEC forum; as the miles can be used on BA metal, worth thinking about for some, perhaps?
