OT: Concorde flies again! Jan 13 [Royal Mail Stamps]
On Tuesday, January 13th 2009, Royal Mail releases a new stamp range entitled British Design Classics.
Of course, Concorde is featured, but not only as stamp, but as the 1st Day Cover postmark. If you want this you have to place your order before the 13th. There are several different types of collectables from first day sheets, prestige stamp books and more. They look seriously cool and stylish and not being a stamp collector myself (well, not since I was 12!) I'm going to order a few of these just because they look good!
Ok, while most of these trips are going to be by road or train, I'm sure there will be a few by plane too! :D |
