Rome flooded, flying BA tomorrow

Interesting news I just saw.
Rome is flooded and I'm there Sun Night-Thurs
Is there any good insurance that covers acts of God?
Also, are the flights still going on-time there?

It is too late to take out insurance against something that has already happened I'm afraid!

There are a couple of travel policies that would have covered you for flooding at your destination (such as AXA independent traveller cover), but on the whole, I don't think most would.
