Me. I *love* the heat - and the fact that you can get a 5* Hotel for £60 a night.

Cheers,
Rick

This is more bad news on the Gatwick front..... so we will no longer have flights to ZRH, GVA, DUB, or TLS; the NQY flights are not being re-started, and neither is Dresden. This comes on top of the other frequency cuts and reductions (i.e NCE, BOD etc) Anybody know how many shorthaul aircraft BA plan to have at LGW next year? :td:

I'm sure there's someone out there who can tell you.
However, at this point in time I'm just as concerned about the staffing levels for LGW - all very worrying :(

Dubai aka the new Benidorm?

Do you know if the TLS-LHR from TLS-LGW is a permanent change? I hope so!

traveller42 Nov 7, 2008 1:55 pm

Yet more useful LGW routes go to be replaced by irrelevancies ...

Of the routes I used regularly out of LGW in 2001, the only one left will be AMS.

At this rate it won't be worth keeping a silver card.

Sigh.

Absolutely fantastic. The only route I really use on the BA network and they go taking that away. It'll be down the road to LHR and flying O fares instead of I/R fares now. A pity, I really found LGW very convenient and the staff friendly (except one fella)).

I'm wondering now whether I'll keep BA gold next year.

Are these changes already on ba.com? I checked for one destination and it does not seem to be the case.

Interesting increase AMS-JFK to daily, and am quite pleased with the destinations that get increase from LGW.

Naw - no sex in public on the beach allowed.
Also limited venues to be a larger lout as most of the bars are more up-market.
