What's with the awful food in CW to BOM?
Second time I've flown this route this year, and both times the menu has been lacking in decent food.
Perhaps they are catering to the Indian customers on the route, but the meal choices for both the lunch on departure and the "snack" prior were absolutely awful.
I accept that beef is not an option on the route, but how about a good chicken breast etc. For the lunch service, it was some chicken slop entre. Good thing I filled up in the F lounge before boarding.
Veggie sandwiches for the final meal service.
I know one doesn’t' choose BA for the food, but I practically go without eating on the BOM flights and that's unusual for me.

The menu on the day flight back was surprisingly good, though -far better than any ex-BOM meal I've had in the past.
Quite a poor reflection on BA that the food ex-BOM was so much better than ex-LHR.

Count me in. Working those flights do wonders for my waist as I eat practically nothing on layover - I take Rivetas to see me through - and only drink boiled drinks. I can truthfully say that this is not just because I hate curried anything.
Actually the chicken fricasse is quite tasty IMHO

It was over a year ago, but I recall the food on CW to, and from BOM to be quite fine. The curry went down well
Now, the lounge (if one can call it that) in BOM airport was quite... umm... peculiar.

Talking of food - I only have praise for my recent meal in F ex-LHR. The choice was really great - I chose the Chicken Pie but would have enjoyed whatever I'd opted for and the Apple & Parsnip soup was gorgeous. The great crew totally enhanced the experience too. ^

I think I've had that before on a LHR-ISB flight. It is nasty; the only redeeming feature of that meal is that there is not much of it to begin with(looks like it's Chicken Jalfrezi w/ potato chaat by the looks of the menu someone else posted).
