BA97.com Calendar - Automatic import of flights from Amadeus PNR
Hi all,
I've just completed a small project I dreamed up last night, which automatically retrieves flight details from CheckMyTrip, and uploads them to your BA97 calendar.
The tool can be found here, if anyone is interested:
http://www.wijomas.com/ft/ba97/
(UPDATE 09NOV2010: The tool is now back up on a new server following a bit of downtime. As a result there may be a couple of bugs, so please let me know your experiences! Thanks.)
No details of any kind are stored - it simply grabs the data and sends it on to BA97.com
And, to Mr. BA97 himself, I hope you don't mind me doing this. Please let me know if it causes any issues.
Cheers everyone

The OP has but a two-month history here on FT.
Potential security concerns are that if he is not telling the truth, then from your PNR he has your name, BA Exec card number, email, phone number, and one on-line password that you use.
No matter how high I place the likelihood of this being entirely legit, I would not use it.

Fair enough - you're welcome to come meet me in person at Ozfest or the Kiwi Mainland Do to ease your concerns (or heighten them if you think I look scary )!
If BA97 was willing to, I'd be happy to send it over to him to host (though it is written in PHP, not ASP like the calendar is).

I think they have closed whatever loophole it was that enabled people to access passport info, credit card data, merely from a surname and a frequent flyer number, but scary nonetheless

Just tried this out and it looks great.
However...
My upcoming flights to LHR were shown as LON. This isn't recognised when you subsequently try to add a lounge visit.
Does Amadeus give you aircraft type and seat number? If so, it would be great if you could auto populate them
Cheers,
Rick

Yes, I've also noticed that my flights were shown as LON instead of LHR. I'll have a look into this.
Yes, aircraft type and seat number are available, will work into adding them too
