BA Arrivals Lounge JNB location and opening hours?

Hi,

Does anyone here know the opening hours of the BA Arrivals lounge in JNB?

How long will it stay open as my pick-up will be in the afternoon?

Is the lounge at the Intercontinental hotel?
Easy to find in the hotel?

Would it be best to tell my driver to pick me up at the Interconti?

Best regards,
Sebastian

BA use the Premier Club arrivals lounge in the Airport Sun IC, also used by Virgin and some others.

Opening hours 0600-1800 daily.

Easy to find. On entering the Airport Sun, ignore Reception in front of you and turn left. It's signposted.

Best to tell the driver to pick you up at the Airport Sun. There's unlikely to be any confusion with the other IC, but safe is safe.

Thanks a lot, Roger, for the very useful advice.

The driver has my cell...knows I arrive at the airport...thus I hope he thinks of the airport IC, but will try to call again tomorrow.

I'm heading there this week too. Does anyone know if they allow access to the swimming pool as part of the arrivals lounge service?

I don't think so, as the lounge is away from the rest of the hotel. It wouldn't hurt to try, though!

The lounge is on the ground floor and the pool is on the top floor next to the gym. (Has rather nice views of the airport.) Certainly no harm asking and they may even allow paid access if the gym is open to outsiders.

This site tells you what the lounge has to offer.
