757 domestic seating question
Hi all
I have an upcoming trip on a UK domestic 757 which I have never been on before and was wondering if 3a or 2f are good seats to choose. It looks like on MMB these are bulkhead seats.
Any suggestions.
Cheers

2F is usually my favourite. Bit of extra leg room, and (I think) depending on the config it feels a bit more private as well.
Last on, First off also makes a big difference. When they are full and you are stuck at the back they can take quite some time to fully dismebark.

Another domestic question though not 757 related. Do arrivals & departures mix at GLA? I'm arriving from BRR and have a 65 minute connection onto a LHR flight so will we deplane in a way I can just go straight into the lounge without having to reclear security?

My window seat prefs on the domestic 757 are:
3A: gets my vote every time - good leg room;
2F: bad, very very bad - probably the most cramped seat in the forward cabin. The fuselage begans to taper in and it's effect is appreciable;
12A/F and 14A/F: noisy, claustrophobic and generally unpleasant even on a short LHR-MAN run. Window blanks are evil

Absolutely. And on the other types of 757 2A is great...loads of leg room.

There is a very small number of 757's that still have row 2 on the ABC side. On the vast majority of 757's, the port side starts at row 3. As others have touched upon, overhead bin space is at a premium behind the forward bulkheads - on those 757's that have AV kit, all the associated boxes and gubbins are stored in the first two starboard bins above 2DEF and 3DEF.

Should we stay put?

Do 11ABC/DEF give any extra legroom (first row of the second cabin) - specifically, is it better than 5DEF for a tall person?

It’s a bulkhead seat so you have no one reclining into to you, which I usually prefer over a normal seat, but not extra legroom if I recall.

I flew 3A from LHR-BUD last week, admittedly in CE.
But i can confirm that row 2 DEF is not a good choice as its directly opposite the toilet, which with CE having a lot of passengers on a 757, took a full on assault all flight after a cooked breakfast containing baked beans
