BA's Best Daylight Flight
So which flight has the best views from the cabin?
Mine goes to NRT - LHR sat in 2K. Views over northern Russia are just spectacular.
And what's the best daylight non-BA route?

Coming in to land on Dominica is great during daylight hours, if it isn't raining.

Another vote for YVR - spectacular views of coastal Scotland and Greenland.
Whilst not good for views, any of the ex-US East Coast dayflights get my vote, just because they beat the pants off trying to sleep on a sub-6 hour night flight ^

My vote goes to YVR too, coming in over the Rockies, having flown down over the frozen wastes of the north. All viewed from 1K through the haze of a few too many Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque '96's (as it was at the time).

If we're going non-BA, then take-off from ZQN is unbeatable, especially if the pilot powers down after take off so "you can all get a better view" ^.

Barra and they are all daylight approaches, unless you get the Islander medivac flight, with the FT crew occupying the rest of the aircraft.
HKG, the old one, from the jumpseat.
JFK from the noisy bird.
London City from the Dash 7 jumpseat in the 7.5 degree days.
RAF Kinloss from the right hand seat of a Hunter?
SYD from 1A
However, the correct answer is:
Any flight on a cabin crew jumpseat sat next to Pucci.

However, the correct answer is:
Any flight on a cabin crew jumpseat sat next to Pucci - you charmer / smoothy you!

Flights to LAX with views of Vegas and the Grand Canyon are pretty spectacular.
can't beat the old HKG airport though.
(oh, and a little closer to home, the approach to LHR over central London -if you're sitting right side is not too shabby.)
