Problems with Finnair flights posting to BA EC account?
Before I go online and submit multiple claims - has anyone else recently experienced delays in their Finnair flights posting to their EC account?
I've taken 6 Finnair flights over the last couple of weeks. None have posted, yet all showed my EC number on the boarding cards. As has been highlighted on here before, Finnair flights usually post quite quickly.
If anyone else is in the same boat I'll hold back on submitting the claims ...

IME 1-3 days for BA coded, AY operated flights (depending on when they are in the week - if there's a weekend involved, it takes the longest). 3-4 days for AY coded and operated. Never any problems ^ Touch wood. Last flight was the start of this month though, nothing quite as recently as you it sounds. Submit the claims, it can't do any harm.

Same problem. I took two Finnair flights (connecting via MAN on Flybe codeshare) two weeks ago, both BA ticketed. Not a mile in my EC account thus far for either the Finnair or Flybe legs of the journey. In fact have just printed off the claim form and put it in an envelope.

72 hours more or less to the minute for AY coded flights (AY, BA or otherwise operated) to post.

The Finnair system had a scheduled break during the past two weeks, after which they extended the break until the end of last week. The system is still down. When I called today the customer service (after waiting for more than 10 minutes) they were not able to say when the break would be over.

Thanks for all the responses. I guess this could be linked to the Finnair Plus system outage (if it's not back up and running this week, I guess it will be August before it's sorted, given the Finnish summer holiday shutdown!).
At least it's reassuring that no-one has said they have received a credit from flights taken in the last couple of weeks. I do have a Finnair Plus account - I can at least log-on to see the balance and the flights don't appear to have been credited there (assuming the account would show this, given their system problems). I haven't experienced any problems with points posting to the wrong account recently (although this did happen a couple of times 6-7 years ago).

In the end I figured I would just log my missing flights with BA. It seems that you no longer have to fax in the details, just enter them online and they send them off to the relevant airline for checking. It says this takes up to 8 weeks, but they will email you a confirmation.

Even RJ claims were approved in one week.

8 months on from my original posting I'm now getting really fed up with the continued problems getting Finnair points to post to my EC account. I know that Finnair have had big system problems, but frankly this situation has become ridiculous.
None of my Finnair flights seem to post automatically. Up to November last year I would simply submit my request on the BA EC pages and the flights would post within 24-48 hours. However, since then it has been taking over 2 months for the claim to be processed.
Are other people experiencing similar problems?

I've just had my backlog of 4 online claimed AY flights approved, and the miles are already in my BAEC account First claim was done on 29 December, so it took almost 7 weeks to clear. Hopefully Finnair has now finally got the system working, I'll find out next week, when taking another AY flight on Monday.
