Bag was waiting for me at T4 this morning!
 

Flew PHL-LHR last night and had the best Heathrow arrival in ages.
Flight over was unusually long 7:20 (no tail wind) so we arrived one hour late at 08:15. I was happy as I had been upgraded to F.
Aircraft arrived on remote stand and buses and steps were there waiting for us.
Went through immigration with no queue and then cheeked to see which baggage belt I would be waiting at for the next 30-40 minutes.
I then got a trolley and to my amazement my bag was waiting for me - for a second I thought I was in Singapore.
I was in the arrivals lounge by 08:40 and no queue for the shower either.
So 25 mins from aircraft on stand to the arrival lounge!!!
However I did notice that most US flights were late and JFK looked to be on average 3hrs late!!!
So maybe there is hope for LHR!!

I thought you were writing to tell us that your wife went to the airport to meet you. :p

I arrived in from SFO yesterday morning, I was in first and first off the plane - (it was a new config with WTP behind first, but we disembarked from Door 1 - so they seem to be finally getting that right, although the business pax were a bit annoyed - 2 of my colleagues were in club and they couldnt understand why WTP was in the way - although I tried to explain....) anyway when I got down to the baggage reclaim approx 5 mins later, the luggage was just coming onto the belt.

I was amazed - unfortunately they didnt unload first/business bags until last...! Ah well - can't have everything.
