No 'T' Class to GIG,GRU or EZE?

Just looking at MFU costings for a trip to either GIG, GRU or EZE late in Nov/Dec '07. Pricing for December is unavailable yet as to be expected but I cannot find any exsistance of the favoured 'T' Class fares for travel anytime in 07 that FT'ers like to take advantage of with their miles!

Nothing on EF, ITA doesn't return anything when using the :: BA+ / F BC=T search criteria as per the ex-EU sticky and BA.com refuses to price up a ticket when 'premium economy' and 'cheapest' are both selected.

Is it just that the fare buckets have not been loaded yet or do the T-fares simply not exsist?

Just picked a random date to GRU in July, and found these on EF

THAPGB7 BA T Round-Trip 1188.00 (GBP) 01/04/07
THAP7GB BA T Round-Trip 1288.00 (GBP) 01/04/07

What dates are you looking for? I can have a hunt around on EF if you want.

T class does exist and is relatively plentiful on the 3-weekly BA235/234 to/from GRU but very scarce on BA247/246 to/from EZE/GIG/GRU.

Probably there is not much need to offer "discounted" WT+ after Varig's demise basically eliminated the competition?

Not sure that Varig could ever be seen as competition to BA in WT+ but you are right that getting cheap fares to deep SA has become increasingly problematic. That said, it is usually possible to get reasonable fares on TAM via GRU.
