Busy or not?

Hey Guys,

I was trying to use the flight information tool that someone listed but it just kept "searching" forever and I got tired of waiting. I am trying to see if my flight for next week is pretty busy and MAINLY if anyone is in the seat next to me. Last time I checked I was in a section of my own (I kept moving my seat when someone reserved a seat next to me ) However, I cant access the page on BA.com anymore. Its BA 2226 on Dec. 12. I am in Seat 22A on the first leg. On Jan 8 flight 2227 seat 22B.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Seats taken on the return 2227 are: 22B JK, 23A.. that's all.

Thanks for the help guys. Ugh, it annoys me someone took 22B on the outbound being I am 22A. I am 22B on the return and I look good for now, but that can change.

Do you think if I ask at check in they can move me to a seat that has no one next to me? Maybe 24K?

Also does anyone know how economy looks? Hope its not too overbooked...then they might move people up WT+ and I wouldnt mind a empty cabin and seats to pick from

You can change your seat at the desk at checkin. You can also online checkin 24 (or is it 23) hours before your flight and choose the seat you want. You'd be able to switch to the first row of seats which I'd recommend doing! A few extra inches would be great. Though that first row on the 777 is no 28B.

Thanks guys. My only fear about the first row is that EVERYONE will rush the front rows and then I will be stuck with someone sitting next to me. I would much rather have an empty seat next to me :P

If you're not too bothered about the window, it might be worth enquiring at check in as to the availability of the middle block. It could be that the whole row will be unassigned and if so, i'd suggest you bag one of the inner aisle seats. That centre seat (E/F) will be the last to be taken (unless you really do have a stalker following you round the plane )

Two comments:

1. If having an empty seat next to you is that important, why don't you just buy another ticket?! Unfortunately BA isn't that profitable that they are able to offer a guaranteed empty seat next to you in WT+. As luck would have it your flights appear to give you the 'space' you crave.

2. I bet you attitude would change if some drop-dead gorgeous lady / hunk of a man (delete as appropriate) happened to plonk themselves down in the seat next to you. Moving your seat every time someone reserves a seat next to yours seems a little extreme to me.

little tag on.

could someone check the current loads on 238 on 2/Jan, BOS-LHR ?

BA are only selling J/F, and seatcounter is showing 0s for Y->, which is consistent but surprising. Should I start considering the possibility of a Y-W 'pleasant surprise' ? [or even a bump]

Well having an empty seat was not important when I first booked. It was later on that I realized I would have to step over someone to go to the bathroom and such. I am the type that would wet myself before disturbing someone. lol. I WOULD prefer to get a window seat with no one next to me because it would just be ideal. So I doubt 21A would have the luck of having someone not sit in 21B. Buy Maybe 24K would be lucky enough to be solo?
